Trade fair calendar
Trade fairs in Barcelona
Dates, venue, stand rules and build-up timeline for each major fair we build stands for, starting with the largest trade fairs in Barcelona. Exhibitek Displays is an independent stand builder: we work for exhibitors, not for the organisers.
Which Barcelona trade fairs are listed?
We list large professional fairs, trade-only or with dedicated trade days, most of them drawing exhibitors or visitors from many countries. Each one has its own page with a key-facts card, a summary of the stand rules, a timeline counted back from opening day and answers to the questions exhibitors ask us. The list runs from mobile and AV technology at MWC Barcelona and ISE to gaming at ICE Barcelona and food at Seafood Expo Global.
Why start four to six months ahead? At MWC Barcelona and ISE, stand plans reach the organisers’ plan inspectors three to four months before opening, and rigging orders, structural calculations and service orders follow in the weeks after. An earlier start leaves room for design rounds before those deadlines instead of squeezing them.
Venues shape a stand as much as fairs do. Our guides to stand building in Barcelona, exhibition stands at Feria Valencia and stands at BEC in Bilbao cover halls, access and house rules.

How to plan a stand for a fair in Barcelona, Valencia or Bilbao
- Read the manual first. Heights, open sides, double-deck rules and plan deadlines come before any sketch. Each fair page in the calendar above summarises them.
- Choose the format. Inline, corner, peninsula or island: the open sides decide how visitors enter. Our guide to exhibition stand formats compares them.
- Design for approval. 3D views for your team, technical drawings for the organiser, and for a double deck a structural project signed by a qualified professional, as Fira Barcelona’s rules require. See our stand design and 3D visualisation process.
- Order the services. Power, water, internet and hanging points go through the organiser or the venue’s service company, with deadlines and surcharges for late orders.
- Build, run the show, dismantle. Contractor paperwork, passes, build-up slots and waste removal close the loop; our production, logistics and build page shows how.
About this calendar
Questions about the trade fair calendar
Are the fair dates on these pages official?
They come from the organisers’ own websites, and each fair card shows the date of our last check. If anything differs, the organiser’s information prevails.
Do you work for the organisers of these fairs?
No. Exhibitek Displays is an independent stand builder: we organise none of these fairs and hold no appointment from their organisers. We design and build stands for the exhibitors who book space at them.
Why are stand plan deadlines so early at the big Barcelona fairs?
At fairs such as MWC Barcelona and ISE, every space-only stand is checked by the organiser’s plan inspectors, and double decks and other complex structures also need structural review. That work happens weeks before build-up, so the drawings have to be final well ahead.
Can you build at a fair that is not in this calendar?
Yes. We build at Spain’s main exhibition centres, from Fira Barcelona to IFEMA MADRID. Tell us the fair and the plot, and a project manager will confirm the plan; our exhibition stand FAQ answers the general questions.
What happens to a fair page after the show closes?
The page stays online. It shows the last edition until the organiser announces new dates, then switches to the next one.
