Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect personal data when you visit this website or contact us.

Data controller

The controller of your personal data is the operator of this website, published under the Exhibitek Displays brand.

This policy follows Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the protection of personal data and the guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

Data we process

  • Data you send us through the quote form or by email: name, company, job title, email address, phone number, details of your project and any files you attach.
  • Data exchanged while a project is prepared and carried out, such as correspondence, plans and delivery details.
  • Technical data generated when you browse the website, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, as described in the cookies section.

This website is intended for professionals and is not directed at minors. Please do not send us sensitive data: we do not need it to prepare a quote.

  • Answering enquiries and preparing quotes. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
  • Carrying out projects. Legal basis: performance of the contract with you or with the company you represent.
  • Meeting legal obligations, such as accounting and tax obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • Sending information about our services. Legal basis: your consent or, where the law allows it, our legitimate interest in informing clients about services similar to those they have contracted. You can object at any time.
  • Keeping the website secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to handle your request or to carry out the project, and afterwards for the periods required by law or needed to deal with possible claims. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw it.

Who receives the data

We do not sell personal data. Service providers acting on our behalf, such as hosting, email and IT providers, may access it under contracts that protect it. Where a project requires it, we share the necessary data with trade fair organisers, venues and suppliers involved in delivering your stand. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities when the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, on standard contractual clauses or on another safeguard provided for by law.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing and its portability, and you can object to its processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@exhibitekdisplays.com with the subject line “Data protection”. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Cookies

This website uses only one cookie, which is technically necessary: pll_language remembers the language selected (storage period: one year). We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, so no cookie banner is displayed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
